Missions Ministry

At EFCMM, we understand missions to be the cross-cultural ministry of evangelism and church planting.  Because God is seeking worshipers to honor his name from all people groups around the world, we see the work of missions as the means by which he uses his human servants to complete his mission.  That includes every believer -- those who send and support as well as those who go and serve.

We believe in supporting our missionaries not merely through finances, but through prayer, as it is God's power that produces a spiritual harvest.  While the mission is to preach salvation through Christ to all people, we are committed to serving the lost through attendant ministries of compassion and social action that fulfill the great commandment to love our neighbor and give integrity to our witness of the love of God in Christ.

Missions Ministry Team

The purpose of the MMT is to glorify God by mobilizing the church through prayer, inspiration, education, and support of missionary endeavors in order to fulfill the Great Commission.

Led by Lee Rogers, Team Leader and Elder

He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or

seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come

upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem

and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

Acts 1:7-8

Our "Own" Missionaries

Dr. Tim and Ann Wester have served in the mission field for many years. Most recently they began serving in Gamboula, Central Aftrican Republic (CAR) among the Fulani Muslims. Ann was the first long-term missionary from EFCMM.

Dennis and Carrie Gaul live in South Bend, Indiana and work with Life Action Ministries in Buchanan, Michigan. Dennis serves as the Life Action Properties and Facilties manager.  Click here to go to the Life Action web site.

Megan Bloemker is a part of Arise Africa. Following a short-term mission trip to Honduras in 2001, she sensed that God was reawakening her heart towards missions and might be calling her to full time missions work. In early 2006 she began serving the Lord by ministering to the children of Lusaka with Action Zambia and then moved to Arise Africa in August 2011 to develop an adoption ministry. Tracy and Karen Singleton left Mt. Morris in January of 2008, after Tracy had served as EFCMM's senior pastor for the previous 13+ years, to begin ministry in Zambia with ACTION.  Tracy's work focused on the Pastoral Leadership Development program, which offers biblical training to pastors who cannot afford traditional schooling options, while Karen mentored pastors' wives and taught English.  They are now based in northern Illinois once again and doing ministry in Zambia and other parts of Africa through several trips each year. Click here to go to the ACTION Zambia web site!

Brett and Cindy Belleque serve with InFaith, an American mission that reaches out to the yet unreached in the United States of America.  Brett serves as the Director of Children's Ministry Resources and his responsibilities include equipping, educating and encouraging InFaith Staff around the country who work with children in a variety of different ministries.

Brett and Cindy also direct InFaith's Summer Staff program which provides a short term mission experience for those 16 years and older who desire to serve with one of InFaith's Field Staff in the US.  In their spare time Cindy directs a local preschool and Brett is active in his churches outreach ministry.

Thomas and Kristine Rogers are missionaries to northern Illinois with InFaith. They work primarily with young adult and children ministries, but they have begun to reach more families in the last few years. They use creative means to outreach to their community, such as, puppetry, gospel magic, balloons, music, art, and tabletop gaming. They manage six ministries during the school year, and speak at several camps during the summer. They have five children, Cinda, Nicodemus, Talia, Stephen, and Alethea.
